Meredith Merchant is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (IL & TX) whose work centers on helping individuals navigate intergenerational trauma, identity development, and relational challenges. Drawing from systemic, mindfulness-based, and humanistic approaches, she integrates evidence-based practices—including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to support emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility, resilience, and meaningful personal growth.

She is a professional member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Meredith completed a post-graduate fellowship in Mindfulness and Behavior Therapy through Northwestern University and earned a Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy from Naropa University.

Her clinical work is grounded in attunement, collaboration, and a deep respect for each individual’s capacity for healing and transformation. She is particularly passionate about helping clients cultivate self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and translate insight into sustainable change.
